HOHDI Achievements in the Year 2022
190 women and youths benefitted from micro credit revolving loan from Kankia, Katsina, Dutsamma, Mashi, Bakori, Sandamu, Maiadua and Rimi Local Government Areas. 1,548 indegent people and IDPs benefitted from our Ramnadan and Salklkah feeding atKatsina, Danmusa,Jibia,Mabai,Faskari, Funtua and Batsari Local Government Areas. 20 sets of walkie talkies were given to civilian JTF through the SSS office in Katsina, Batsari, Jibia and Faskari Local Government Areas. 50 IDPs were trained on soap making and enterpreneurship at NYSC lodge. The sum of N5,000 was distributed to each of them to buy raw materials and continue with the business. Over a thousand students and widows are benefitting from the two Skills Laboratories furnished and equipped by HOHDI as follows:
- Food and Nutrition Loaboratory at Community Girls Secondary School Rimi, Rimi Local Government Area.
- Tailoring Workshop at Community Secondary School, Kafinsoli, Kankia Local Government Area.
20 IDPs children (10 boys and 10 girls) in Jibia Local Government Area were enrolled into primary school and supplied with uniforms, school shoes, school bags and books. Their parents were empowered with skills and funded to start petty trading. Monitoring and evaluation of the skills centers as per the MOU and keeping record of success stories from various Local Government Areas on the Zakkat, revolving micro credit and other interventions.
